these campgrounds are mostly centrally located for the best attendance

Stacy if you are talking about the bear cove campground in Polk county it is already open. Fairly nice place. They have a pavilion and other things there too. Last year they were gonna host one of our fishing groups and they brought out a big screen tv for the game.

I was wondering when a list of planned trips would be decided on. I have not been real active on this site until now. I love in Blount County and looking to meet others in the area who like to camp. Our children are on their own now, so it is just me and my husband. We also have two small dogs that we take camping with us. Just looking for others who are interested in camping and making new friends who like to as well.

I would love to be part of any group camp outs that are planned.

Is the date for Warriors a definite? Dice needs to know because she has to go ahead and requests the time off from work. They have inventory in April so if she puts in for the time off before they post the inventory days she can have the time off, if she waits she may not be able to get the days off. That weekend will work for us.

It seem that we have not made any decisions on where to go in the months of June,July. Stacy maybe we need to list the ones we have up and vote on them or you could make the decision yourself.

Yes I would like some help deciding. We normally go to claboughs or stay close to home cause those months people fall through on so I would like to set up those months. Go ahead and start a thread to get people going.. i dont get much reply..lol

I would like to go to Smokey Bear in Galitinburg. I went there last year to check it out and was impressed. The owners were really friendly. We also stayed at Twin Mountain RV park last year and it was really nice. A lot of shade for the summer months. Also has a pool, but not much other things to do. I think it had a meeting place and very clean restrooms.

Bandy Creek will be filled up soon. Tennessee popups campers camp there every year so i know they say it is always booked solid

Smokey Bear Campground sounds good for one of the months if we can get people committed to it i will call and ask the lady to get us sites
