I'm not sure this is the right forum for this, but I wanted to tell everyone what a great experience we had while buying our new camper at A&L RV.

They made the process so nice, and easy. They were willing to deal on price, made the financing easy, clean the camper completely a did a full walk through to show us what every button and knob does on our camper.

Our sales person sent us a Thank you note and the company sent us a thank you basket.

We just took it back to have it winterize and they walked my husband through the whole process so that we can do it ourselves next year.

They just really know how to treat their customers and I really appreciate that and wanted to let everyone know.

If you are in the market for a new camper or RV, go to them.

Mel Covard was our salesman! etncc/cheer.gif

We bought our first camper from them from Chris. The walk through is very nice. We like to go up and browse when we are in the area.. helps me get ready for the camper show this winter in Knoxville where we check out the news and cool stuff in campers and drool over what we can't have

We bought our travel trailer there last year & Chris was our salesman too. We just saw him again this past weekend and he remembered us!!! But he doesn't sell anymore he was promoted to manager, but we had the same great experience. They treat EVERYONE the same!! I can't talk highly enough about them. Now on the other hand we had went to Crowder RV the same year we were looking to buy a TT & when we told them how much we were looking to spend...after he chuckled to himself, they said they had nothing in our price range and would not even take us on the lot!!! They were very snooty!!! My husband and I will never go back there and they sell our favorite camper...the Montana and one day when we upgrade we will drive to Knoxville if we buy a new one, or keep our eyes out for a used one at A & L.

You were lucky then, we were at A&L yesterday, walked through a number of campers, looked at the van campers and finally had to say excuse me and ask someone where the parts department was. No one offer to help us or show us around until we started out the door to leave. Went to WSI and had to interrupt a salesman to show us the new Star Stream, which is a good looking camper. After getting his attention, the salesman was pretty helpful. etncc/dontknow.gif I guess it had been a long day and they were all tired.

No wonder Chris was promoted, he must have been real busy back a few years ago, he was our salesman as well. biggrin.gif

Dave, I was looking at one of the van motorhomes at A&L a while back. It sure is a neat package. I don't remember if it was the one I was looking at over there but I saw one somewhere that was built on the Freightliner or Dodge chassis and had the Mercedes diesel engine. I bet that would make a fine traveling machine.
