Just curious. The power converter on our '98 Jayco sends 20 amps to the battery to charge it. The only problem is I don't think it cuts off. Is there a relay or voltage regulator or something that is bad or does it charge continuously? Thanks...

It will charge all the time. If you keep it hooked up all the time you might want to take the hot wire off the battery or make sure to keep water level up in your battery.

20 amps sounds very high for a continuous charge. A 2-3 amp trickle charge is what I would expect with an in-line regulator to protect against overcharging. Good question, but I don't have your answer. Something to think about though and check into.
