I've had my TT less than a week and I've already been welding on it. It needed a bike rack since we typically take 3 bicycles with us when we camp. It already had a spare tire carrier on the back bumper, so I took some 1" stainless tubing and built a bike rack extending above the spare tire. I'll take some pictures when I get a chance, but basically I drilled a 1" hole in the top of the tire carrier bracket and slide a piece of the 1" tubing into the hole then welded it in place. Then I bent a 3 sided hoop using the same 1" tubing and welded to the top of the vertical tube to form the bicycle rack. Typical two tubes sticking out horizontally to hang the bike's on. I'll use a simpe strap or bike lock cable to secure the bikes in place since that's what I do with the store bought rack's anyway. I never really trusted the velcro straps they come with. Simple but effective and it will never rust. Best of all it was free! Just cost me about one hour's time and some scrap metal I had laying around.

As you get to know me better, you'll find I don't believe much in leaving anything "stock" the way it came. I like to add my own little touohes to make it unique and to make it mine. cool.gif
