OK several ways to try this .... One is a blank tank flush kit installed so that it will spray the inside of your black tank and get off the toilet paper or anything that has hardened around the sensor.
If you do not want to install that you can buy the adapter that fits on the black tank dump and hook water hose to the side of it and the sewer hose to the other end and it will make a flush kit and rise out the black tank really well This is what I use. Cost $25-29 bucks
Next is to go down through the toilet and use the wand have to run a hose inside the camper and hook it up to spray out from the top.
Also if you fill tank about 2/3 full and put a box of the collagen water bath beds in the toilet and drive around this will help the tank to flush it self. The water softener is suppose to help clean out the inside of the tank as well. Any time you pull the camper around the block with water or anything in the camper it will helps knock loose the stuff that has harden on the walls and sensor. hope this helps

alright thanks for the help.. we bought the wand you are talking about.. and i guess we may have to have that other thing installed.. how much does that cost ??
our fresh water tank does it too.

Something else you can do is to add some ice cubes to your black tank and drive around for a while before dumping the tank. In theory, the ice cubes will slosh around and clean the tank and sensors. I've done this a couple of times.
But the most important part is to never let the black or gray tank dry completely. After we dump the tanks, I add some water (about a gallon or so) to each tank. Even over the winter, you should add some RV antifreeze to both tanks to keep any solids in the tanks from drying out and sticking to the tank.

we always fill the toilet up 2 times with water, and a little of the sewer stuff after we dump it.

I use the tornado 360 rinser,it spins around and cleans the whole tank and only takes about 3 min to install.

yea we saw that at walmart .. how does it install ?? we couldnt figure it out. i think it said no drilling ?? not sure.

You will need a phillips screw driver, drill bits, a rechargable drill... (the handiest), and a steel hole saw to drill the large, main, hole for the Tornado. Also needed, sissors to cut out the template and a good 100% silicone caulk. Basically, use the template included and follow the super easy instructions. You can't go wrong. Installs in the center side of the tank. I installed mine in about fifteen minutes. I could do it again in five. It's really easy, but make sure you do it right the first time. No second chance once you drill the hole. Hook up to clean water after you dump your tank and turn it on. It really cleans out your tank. Another "Safe piece of advice"...Don't forget to drain the water hose attached during the winter as any excess water in the hose could freeze, crack and damage the tornado.

Not all units this can be used on. Due to the location of the tanks. If the tanks are two low or inside the frame and nothing to hold the flush in place. Make sure to measure your location of your black tank before buying one.
