Yesterday my wife and I took a little road trip to check out Caney creek RV resort in Harriman. If you google it, they have a webpage. The place is really nice but no shade to park the campers under so the AC will be working hard. Also, I think it pretty much caters to people that are into boating since it is right on Watts Bar lake. They had some really nice sites overlooking the water but i think unless you have a boat with you, it would actually be kinda boring to stay there. There isnt anything in the area that I saw to do. They do have a nice playground for kids and the pool area,while a little small, is nice since it is right on the edge of the lake overlooking it. I pass that way all the time and I had been wanting to check it out and while it is a nice place, I wouldnt go there simply because i dont have a boat.
