Looking through Cleveland stuff. Are there any good campgrounds in Cleveland TN that would be worth staying at.

I have read some very good reviews on Harrison Bay State Park which is not far from Cleveland. We plan on going there sometime in'08.

Harrison Bay State Park is a really good area, but its closer to Chattanooga. We have camped there the last two years and really enjoy it.
If you are looking for close to home you can try Chillhowee or Mckamey Lake, up on top of the mountain. Going West on hwy 64 just turn right and go up the mtn. at the Forest Service office on hwy 64. I am originally from Blue Ridge Ga, but now live in Delano TN. Give me a shout sometime and maybe we can talk some. I can point you in some good areas around home there or down here either one.
