I have been looking for a Crusier by Crossroads. I am interested in the CF32BL model. I wished that Tennessee RV had brought one to the RV show but alas they didn't.From what I have read, that Crossroads believes in giving good serivic to owners. I have e-mailed the company several times to ask a question and they have responded very quickly with an answer. I believe that Rick is a dealer with Crossroads but doesn't carry the Cruiser line, to bad to since I don't think that TN Rv cares about single people. I kinda felt like I was given the cold shoulder at the RV show. I have e-mailed them a couple time and it has taken days to get an answer from them .I am still waiting for an answer about putting my trailer on consignment.

We do carry the Crossroads products in the Zinger and the Sunset Trails.
We would love to put your unit on consignment if it is possible to work out a deal.
Way we do Consignment is we sell the unit for you and you have no out of pocket expense. You set the price of the unit and then we mark it up a little to cover our expense. The amount we sell over your price is what we keep.
Difference between Tennessee RV and us.... Several but main thing is you will know your salesman and they will know you. We camp with our customers and get to know them on a personal base. None of my salesman work off of commission only salary.
TN RV is one of the Better dealership's around East TN so I am a little surprised that they have not returned your request quickly.
I know the dealership at WSI carries the Cruiser line but I can not tell you anything about the service you might get from them. You might give Jeff a call at WSI Greenville and then check around with former customers.
If you are looking for a upper line of Fifth Wheels we carry the
Starvol, Don't know if I should have put TN -RV down but at the show last weekend I noticed that their salemen didn't even ask if I had any questions, but when a family came in they were all over them. As for them not returning my e-mails well that could have been because of the shows going on.
I will keep you in mind about the consignment

Thanks for getting back to him on this topic Rick..
as a past WSI customer I tell you they were much better priced on the campers then A&L RV near me. I would compare prices and service with that of Ricks but when it come time for us to sell It will be with Rickk and Catheys rv. They are by far the best in customer service around. They have always treated me with respect and answered any questions I had even though I wasn't buying at the time. You know with Catheys RV they aren't giving you the run around like other salesman do.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rick at the K-Ville show last week. We are going to be buying a TT in the future, just not sure if this year or next. Righ now it is between a Zinger, and a Coachmen. I have a few reservations about buying anything from Thor. I am hoping that all the negative stuff I have hneard regarding them is because of a poor dealer relationship, which I am sure wouldn't be the case wtih Catheys.
I will do everything I can to buy my next unit from Catheys

collbreeze, I have spent a significant amount of time looking at the crossroads products. I very much like the floorplans, and the designs. That is not at all my problem. Over the past three years, I have read more disparaging things about Thor industries than you can imagine. If, and that is a big if, these remarks are true, then I don't think I want to spend my hard earned money on their products. The complaints mainly seem to be in regard to the way Thor handles warranty and design problems as a corporation. This is not only in the RV lines, but their Champion bus line as well. I am just a little gun shy about the parent company. Maybe Rick could weigh in and tell us what his experience has been. Again, not trying to start anything here. Just relating that I have seen a lot of bad press for this company. Paul

The factory is only as strong as your dealership and your dealership is only as strong as the factory. Of all the companies we have dealt with through out the 46 years of business, Thor has been one of the best. Skyline use to be tops and then in the past 5 years the company has gone down the tubes.
Some people do not realize that Thor makes all of the Keystone Products Crossroad Products Dutchmen Products, Aerolite Products and Airstream
They are by far the largest. We deal with Thor, Starcraft which is owned by Jayco, and Gulfstream.
In our Thor line we carry the Aerolite, Adirondack, Grand Junction, Colorado, Monte Vista, T@B, Zinger, and Sunset Trail.
We have been please with the way the Factory for each one of these has handle a calls and warranty issues.
I will buy 150 - 250 units a year from Thor and the customer might only buy one or two in a lifetime. This might be the reason that they will listen more to the Dealership than to the customer. Not sure but might be a reason. The Dealership is the one responsable to make sure the customers voice is heard with the factories.

StarVol need the nail on the head. It takes both a good factory and a good dealer to have a good product for the customer. There is always something that can be missed at the factory when the unit leaves the factory, a good dealership will find this before the customer does. Sometimes things slip past both. Doing a PDI before leaving with your purchase can help but sometimes things still slip by. That is why a good dealership is there to take care of any problems.
Both a Factory & Dealer know that one bad thing said about them can ruin a 1000 complainments.

PS. StarVol, TN RV finally got back with a reply.
