this past weekend we cooked corn on the cob, we put a pot on the stove full of water. and let it boilfor like 4 minutes with the corn in it. it is a gas stove. it got hot inside the camper, which is normal i guess, also when we first turned the stove one, we smelled propane preety bad. is that normal ? we never have cooked inside a camper like that. and we forgot to get the corn out of the fridge when we parked it yesterday so we have to hurry and run down there and get it out before it starts to smell up the camper !!

yea, were thinking were going to get a coleman outside stove. the smell did go away before we went to sleep. i wish the stove in our were removable. inside or out. like is in a lot of popups, but oh well. also it doesnt have a fan for over the stove, and there is a cabinet right over the stove, i guess that eventually it would dis-color the under cabinat ?

we dont cook inside much either. We have a regular weber grill we take with us.
We cooked corn on the cob in foil and baked potatoes in foil (potatoes were SO good) on the grill over a LOW fire in the fire ring this past weekend.
edited to add: we have also used a little coleman 2 burner propane campstove to boil water to cook mac n' cheese and also corn before.....

We try to do most of our cooking outside. We can take the two burner top outside and hook up or if we are gonna stay awhile I have an older stove out of one of the old Sotty campers. It has three burners and an oven in it. I just hook it up with the quick disconnects that I have for the grill and use it outside. It's pretty nice wakin up to biscuits and gravy of the morning with fresh coffe and a slab of tenderloin.
Nice about cooking outside of the evening also.. Like has been said.. Keeps the camper cool in the summer and no smells left over. wink.gif
