have you had any problems ??

Gone Camping- 09-09-2007
No problems yet "knock on wood" You will really enjoy it because your beds don't take up your floor space.Just have to watch packing up to make sure you tuck the canvas in right and not crimp your seals.

yea were also looking for a shorter one, thats hard all over.. just because i have heard the same thing from a lot of people, and online. and to get one used, we dont know that it has been used correctly.

Something else to look for you want the fold over clamps that lock the beds shut, because the screw in ones are bad for bending and pulling out of the fiberglass.

willandgilscamper- 09-09-2007
Oh yea.. i have learned that most brands changed to the lockable ones, here recently. and unfortunately the ones we have looked at, are the screw type, that you are talking about.. were leaning on just a shorter one. since we go every weekend almost 28' is a bit big.

I understand going smaller with these gas prices, mine is 18ft but open it 23ft.One other thing try to get the cable's that hold the beds the one with poles don't hold as much weight.

willandgilscamper- 09-09-2007
gah. haven't even seen one without the poles.. is yours new ?? were looking around 2-4 years old. we have our eye on a 2004 Springdale 23' tt, if we can sell ours.

Let me see, in my life time, I had a 65/66 Cox Camper pop up tent; 1974 Class C (don't remember the make); and now a 2007 Sydney Outback. Okay, the first two I had as a kid with my parents; the Sydney is all mine.... etncc/clap.gif err, the banks.
