Ever think bout going to Davy Crocket to camp and didnt go. Well, u missed out. This was an awesome campground. Alot of things to do, especially if u like to (Jesus said, Follow me and I will make you fishers of men). Your kids will also enjoy the pool, visitor center, and his birthplace. And the price is great too, $20.50 a night. But, u have to get there at least early Thursday evening or very early Friday morning, it fills up fast. 1st come, 1st served. Through June, they have singing every Saturday night, and the park rangers and employees have games for the kids everynight on weekends. 1 drawback, the pool is closed on Monday & Tuesday. (good time to spend some quality time with ur kids). The campground hosts will help u n any way they can, and 95% of the campers r very nice and will at least talk 2 u. Big plus..It is clean and well maintained, and most sites have sewer hookups, and if ur real good tuning in ur antenna, u can get 6 to 7 different channels on ur tv. Try it out, u will not be disappointed, at least, I wasn't, and I am hard to please. lol .... Didn't see this---I'm a hugh Gator Fan !!!!!!!!!!

We just absolutely love this campground. This is where we have done most of our camping. The new ranger intern is wonderful with the kids, they have gone on hikes and played games from the times of Davey Crockett. They also have movie night every other Thursday. Mostly Disney for the kids, and the kids at heart. Hope to see everyone there in August.
