etncc/help.gif I am wanting to purchase the single wheel locking chock for high side of pup but have been unable to locate locally. Have found online for right at $50.00 but can't stand the etncc/tantrum.gif etncc/tantrum.gif thoughts of $14.95 shipping and handling. Anyone know of a local that sells these chocks and how much they are? Guess I will keep tapping the plastic chocks on the high side for now. Happy Camping all........................

Nope we just use the ugly yellow ones too. Ask Rick about them on the dealers forum, he might be able to give you a good price also

I saw a few of them at the campground, wonder if they are worth the money??

It will help keep your camper a lot steadier when anyone moves around. I already have the BAL leveler that secures one side and want the single tire chock to secure the other side. I am also going to take the wheel off the tongue jack to make it more steady. If I can find one without paying 14 or 15 $ shipping I will buy it. I really like the BAL leveler. I used it this week just to steady the camper, it was already level side to side. Happy Camping..................... etncc/i love camping.png

Hey, Dirtfisher just scrolling through and saw your mail about the wheel chocks. I wasn't about to pay a ridiculous price either. I took a 5/8 " turnbuckle and welded one up . I used a 6" piece of 4" angle on each end . When you set the chock to the wheel , you simply turn the turnbuckle and it tightens the chocks to the wheel. Anyway, I have an extra one if interested. etncc/chilli.gif

Thanks ejax50, I welded a couple of chocks last fall and when it warms up I am going to weld the threaded rod and turnbuckle on them. Thanks for the offer though. Happy Camping................................

Hay Dirtfisher. When we bought out TT last spring I bought one of the BAL wheel lock. I was like you about the price. I think I paid around $50.00 at Chillhowee RV. But I think it was worth the money. I only use one but it works great. And nothing else. Just put in between the wheels and ratchet it till tight against the wheels.

Does anyone have any pics of these chocks that they have made? I would be interested in making some myself.

Thanks,
Ken
