They renovated 2 of the loops in the campground last year. Last I heard, construction was scheduled to be completed by the end of 2007. We stayed there last July, and they were still under construction (and had 2 of the loops closed). We walked through the areas they are renovating, and it looks like those loops will be very nice. Some sites had concrete pads, and they were adding sewer hookups to one of the loops (loop A if I remember correctly). Loop D (which has not been renovated) already has sewer hookups.

You should make sure to eat at the park's restaurant while you're there. The dining room overlooks the lake, and the food is very good.

check the voltage at the site before you plug in if its one thats been renovated. Someone from a group from more of a west area of the state went there and it was wired wrong. It was set up for 220 instead of 120 the way it sounded. They blew up their inverter and other items. They probably will have them checked out by now but I would check it anyway. I plan to go there hopefully in a few weeks with the scotty. I live close to the park, about an hour away at the most.

Willy, that's a good reminder for everyone to always check the voltage before you plug in. I keep a cheap multimeter in my toolbox for just that purpose. While it's unfortunate that the park didn't have their contractor check the voltage before they opened the loop to campers, I'm not necessarily surprised. When most electricians see the 30-amp plug our RV's use, they assume it's 220 like a dryer plug.

We camped at Fall Creek Falls last September. It was beautiful and we had a good time. We stayed in Loop C. It had not been renovated and the bathrooms were in bad shape. They were supposed to work on them. Maybe they have. We will definitely go back and hopefully soon. There were a lot of young families there and it was very peaceful and comfortable.

This one of our favorite cg.
There is so much to do at FCF.

We would go to the softball field every nite to watch the campers play.Alot of our group would play.
Golf course
swimming pool
great hiking trails.Be sure to hike to the bottom FCF.
GO behind the Nature center and walk to the Cascades. This is a big hang out in the summer months.great swimming spot.

If you have any ? just let me know.
My dil worked there for years. my son met her while we were camping there.
She now lives in GA but she still has family who work at the park

i'm going there in July. I have site 92 in loop B. Is this ok? or should i call back to see if i can get a different location?

Also, This may sound odd but i made my reservation last month and pput the deposit on a discover card. i got the confirmation thru the mail that shows deposit paid of $51.00 but the charge never showed up on my card. You think i should call and ask or just act dumb when i get there? I was thinking maybe they only run the charges all at one time for reservations and it just hasnt gone thru yet. Anyone else have this experience?

From what I remember, 92 is a nice, large site, but unlevel. i haven't been there since the renovations, so that may have changed. Just take lots of leveling blocks, and you should be o.k. We have stayed lots of times across the road in I believe 91, 93. 92 is right across the street from the bathroom, and not far from the playground in A loop. I have some pics of Fall Creek in my photos. These were taken before the renovations.
