Why not join us in October? : )
I just posted my favorites over on the Jellystone thread...
#1 has to be Fort Wilderness at Disney - I need to get pics up on my webshots.
Then there are several others that are all "tied" for 2nd place. Each one has its own unique charm and offers its own special camping experience..
Little River Village. I really like the riverfront sites with deck. I love the area it is in. Very very peaceful and beautiful
Jellystone. My 5 year olds favorite but my teens don't mind it either. I love the shade and the beauty of the area. While some of the campgrounds in the area are like big concrete parking lots, I appreciate the shade and beauty of the campground. The activities are fun and the owners are the best. They truly do care about their guests.
Grindstone. I love this campground. It is truly "away from it all" as you cannot even get a cell signal. The area is incredibly beautiful. Sites are huge and very private. Also, it is alot cooler there.
Roan Mountain. Very first campground we ever stayed at. I love the area. One of the very first places I visited when moving to TN from St. Louis was Roan Mountain and I fell in love with it. If you get the chance, visit the Rhododendron Gardens when they are in bloom.

hey, you think I type fast? you should see me when I can use two hands to type instead of one like I have to right now.
Fort Wilderness would be very tough to beat. I am ready to go back.. but my budget isnt : )
For Meghans 4th birthday we bought the travel trailer and spent a week at Little River.
For Meghans 5th birthday, we took her two Disney for 2 weeks...
I am clueless how we can beat that for her 6th birthday : )

I guess I would have to say our favorite is Davy Crockett. Everyone is always so nice there, we can keep an eye on the kids, and there are NO hills for when we ride our bikes. The only downfall is the playground being across the road.
God Bless, Rhudy

My favorite campground is Cove Lake. Lots of good childhood memories and lots of memories with my own kids. Ken

Hard to choose, I guess our favorite local cg would have to be Fall Creek. All the other places we have stayed were liked for different reasons. My favorite place to camp is the beach, so, all those cgs would be hard to rank. Going to Henderson Beach in Destin next month. That is a really nice cg.

ah good choice we have been hearing a lot of good thing on fall creek but are waiting until a 3 day weekend or something to go

Cove Lake is on I-75 exit 134 and approximately 53 minutes from my house, depending on heavy my foot gets.
