Great campground. Lot of roomy sites. some on lake, some on creek, some with view. Some sites very private (we had lot 3 which was on lake, very private and spacious) Clean restrooms and grounds. Pets welcome on leash. Hiking trails. Had several pavillions for paying campers. One for general public. Playground. Boat rentals in summer. Pool shaped like the liberty bell. This is going in as one of my top 5 favorites.

When were you guys at FDR?

We were there the week of Thanksgiving.
My mom and dad are going tomorrow.We will go up Friday for a few days.
No School on monday.

This is one of our favorite places to camp.
It is only 30 min. from the house.

It was our first time there. We were there the Wednesday (day before) Thanksgiving through Sunday (after). it rained a little bit, we went to Callaway Gardens. it is really a nice place. I am 3 hours from there, that is the only drawback so we have to plan long weekends....We were in campsite number 3 and had 3 labs with us.

I remember you guys.

We were right next to the bathhouse.
We had a pretty large group.my mom and dad were two sites down from us and our friends were nest to them..And we had family in 2 other sites on the other side if the bathhouse.

We had a boxer,shitzue,black scottie.

I remember you walking by with the dogs.
We came in monday before and left sunday.

We took our Thanksgiving dinner over to the covered tables by the lake.

We go every Thanksgiving.
We are going this weekend also.

We remember you guys. I remember the scottie, I had scotties growing up. You had both sides of the road weren't you. didn't someone have that cool toss game by the rest rooms. We were thinking about making that our all the time Thanksgiving spot. We had other friends there too across from us. Small world.

Yep that was us.

We call the game Hilly Billy Golf.
