Know someone who puts hitches under the bed, not a RV dealer? This is our first fifth wheel.

Not sure if I'm reading your post right, but it would seem that your interested in a gooseneck hitch which is mounted under the bed with the ball coiming up thought the bed. You would have to use a gooseneck adapter for the 5th wheel to work. A word of caution if you have a 5'er under warrantty. Most frame manufacters will void there warranty if you use a goosenck adapter. Here is what I have, a B&W turnoverball hitch. I purchased the B&W compainion 5th wheel hitch to go with it. I can remove my hitch and you can't even tell that I had one. Do a search for "B&W hitches" to find there web site. It will show you a dealer that is close to you

Not sure what you want someone to install a hitch but you do not want a RV dealership to do it? If that is the case make sure you find someone who knows and have done them before to get your measurements correctly.

Might want to give Phoenix Conversions a call in West Knoxville they do hitch work and do not sell RV's They do our overflow and do a really good job.



If it is a new Fifth Wheel and you do put a goose neck in make sure the dealership gets you a written document from the factory Stating that pulling your unit with goose neck DOES NOT VOID THE FACTORY WARRANTY as WELL AS THE FRAME MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.

Reason I say this is because if the fiberglass cracks in the bend of your fifth wheel they will try not cover it if you are towing with a goosneck.....

If it is a used one then you need not worry about the warranty

Not sure where you are located but A1 Hitches in Kingsport put my B&W hitch in. Have pulled many things and never had a problem.
