Please excuse my ignorance but I have some curious questions about the forum:

1. Where do you set Posting Details - Member Title?

2. What is the significance of the Campfire & Kettle or Tent w/campfire at the left of the posts? They both lead only to photobucket. They seem to have no useful functionality.

3. Why are the legend symbols seldom used?

Open Topic (new replies), Open Topic (no new replies) -- These use the tent (photobucket) for both

Hot Topic (new replies), Hot Topic (no new replies), Poll (new votes), Poll (no new votes), Locked Topic, Moved Topic -- These are seldom used.

**I just put them in where i thought they went when i changed the skin. I lost where i had the symbols before.. never really apid attention to it at all

Where do you set Posting Details - Member Title?

Select a user name to view profile. Lower right block has "Posting Details". In there is "Member Title".

Yours shows "Forum leader"
Dirtfisher's shows "When in doubt, dig it out"
Mine shows "No Information"

I see it displayed on the left side of a post under the username and avatar.

So my question is where do you enter this piece of information?

go to My controls...Edit profile info...then fill in top line for custom title(only when a member reaches 50 posts can they change it on their own)

I can change it for you though

I sure don't mean to be so dumb but I cannot find anywhere to put that information. The top line you describe is "Your Date of Birth"

I can wait. It's not a critical thing. I was just curious why I couldn't find it. I had looked in the "help" section and could find nothing on it. So I asked.

No problem. I had to look to find where i had the settings set at.

Gives you something to look forward to when you hit 50 posts
