Hello all, etncc/new.gif
My wife and I are new to the site. We are semi-experienced trailer campers, have recently purchased our first pop-up trailer(1998 Coleman Casa Grande)Great camper for a family of four. We have always tent camped until now. We are starting to venture further out since we got the trailer and want to go to pigeon forge for a few days. We have (2) boys ages 5 and 6 so we were needing some suggestions for the best campgrounds near the attractions in pigeon forge, that offer some things for the boys to do at the campground.

With the ages of your boys.... I would whole-hearteldly recommend the Great Smoky Jellystone! IMHO, it is hands down the best campground for families.
They have planned activities for kids as well as nightly movies and hayrides, etc.
They have a really nice miniature golf course as well. They owners are the best you could ever meet.

You can drive from the campground to Pigeon Forge and bypass the traffic.

Also, we like driving to Jellystone. We bypass all of the traffic heading into Pigeon Forge.

I have a few pics of Jellystone on my webshots..

Jellystone

Welcome to the group!
