Does anyone have one? If so, how do you like it and is it as easy or easier than a pop-up? We have a Jayco pop-up and may be looking to expand some. Is this a good way to go? The wife has seen pics of a travel trailer that the ends fold out like a pop-up and she is wanting to look at one. I figure this would be easier to store at home than a full blown TT and was just needing some ifo or input.. Thanks.

We went from a pop-up to a hybird and love it.The #1 thing no cranking, about the same weight just lots more space. The beds fold up really easy and they don't take up your living space like a TT.Come on over to the Dark Side you won't regret it.

I second that. We went from a popup to a small travel trailer to a hybrid, and absolutely love the hybrid! I would suggest that you find a dealer near you that sells hybrids and take a look at one. IMHO, they offer all of the benefits of a popup (light weight, etc.) with none of the negatives (cranking up the roof, no bathroom, etc.). You mentioned being able to store it at your house; that's what we do. I have one of those metal carports (20' x 21'), and park the camper and truck under it.

We love ours, Its the best of both worlds, You still have the tent ends and the hard side of a trailer. The wife like the bathroom feature. We traded our popup after the first season, They're relative easy to tow. Your mpg will go down... . Set up time is a breeze, and there is lots of storage.
Hope this helps kenn209
