Well, i'm beginning to wish i'd have taken up fishing instead of camping. I put a deposit on a new camper today. We ordered a 2009 Flagstaff 831krss. really nice and we ordered it exactly how we want it. White interior, vinyl wood plank flooring, stainless steel appliances,etc, etc. i definitly plan on keeping this one until i can move up to a bigger truck in the future and just buy the 5th wheel which is what i really wanted after seeing them at the RV show last month. But I am extremly happy with this one that we are getting in 6 weeks. Anyone know exactly how long 6 weeks feels anyway?? :) we looked at so many at the RV show and finally decided we werent gonna settle again to what was on the lot so ordering was the best way to go.
This one has what's called an atrium slide which is huge windows on the main slide out so it feels really open when you walk into it. We were also able to get a free standing dinette in it which makes it feel even more residential then a booth and since it has a back bedroom with a bed in it, we're not losing any sleeping room.

Anyway, really excited about seeing it come in and trying it out for the first time. We have a trip planned at the end of May to go to Cherokee,Nc for 4 days so it'll be a good maiden voyage. ( i hope).

To Will... I was telling my wife about how many campers you've gone through and she asked me if i was trying to compete with you? I told her i wasnt even close.
This is my 3rd in 10 months. But i told her honestly, this is the last one for a while. I bet you've said that yourself!!!!

Oh... I was wondering something else...
Does anyone ever go to the group campouts alone? My wife cant always get away from work but i can usually reschedule how i work and i'd like to attend some but i didnt want to feel like the oddball there all by myself. How pathetic would I be , huh!!! Well, i'd probably bring my new dog but still didnt want to feel weird.

Having been to one group campout, I feel confident saying that you would probably feel comfortable going alone and would have a great time too! And, I am sure your new lab would enjoy it : )

bet the camper will be really nice. that why we didnt order one, couldnt wait, and knew we would find something else before it came in.

we have had we have had 9 since last January. as long as you dont loose money keep going !

Betty will probably support our conclusion.. if you look, you buy ? that is our problem we get one, then look again and find one we like better, and get it.

i'd say if ya ordered one you should be alright with it ! but never know 3 in 10 months ?
