I saw this idea on RV.net. I took a white trash can and put three bolts through it. One in the front and one on each of the two sides. Turn it upside-down and slide it over the jack. The 12v vehicle connect cable hangs on the front bolt. The safety chains hang on either side and their weight holds the cover in place. Ours is a power jack but it will work for a crank style also.

Neat additon Captan Pickles! I like the way you have the chains up in there too. That will keep the hooks from rusting up and gives it a nice place to keep everything.

Very neat addition. I think I may give this a shot also. Thanks for the pics.

I must be way cheap, I cover mine up during the winter with a plastic trash bag.
