We are going to be buying a house with a basement as soon as we get everything settled. My question is does anybody keep their camper open year round and would it hurt it?

Ken, last year a friend of mine started building their house. In the middle of construction they sold their old house and had to move out. Stored everything they could in a storage facility and then moved into their pop up at the new house.
They done ok for the first few weeks and then the heat came! I think they had about had it after living in the pop up for almost two months! They finally got moved in before the house was finished and had enough of it done to live in.
It didn't seem no worse for the wear that it stayed up for almost three months. They actually look back now and said they had a good time. etncc/cheer.gif
I just can't get them to go camping this year for some reason tho????

one popup we had bought from a couple in Gray, had kept in there basement garage its whole life, and used it just a few times, and it looked as new. 5 years old. and they kept it popped up inside seamed to help it.

I am thinking if I leave it open in the basement it will make it easier to clean and do mods on.

yea, we have always wanted to be able to have a driveway to leave the camper hooked up and basically set up all the time, to be able to camp in at home and stuff.. we have been looking for a house for a while. we would love to be able to keep one indoors !

Seems househunting is harder than you would think.

yea, to find one in the right area, and not bad neighbors, and everything. and the right price

I really hope it works for us. A new house might slow down camping though.
