Well, I got the new light in and to my suprise it actually is brighter than the one that is in there. Well actually the first suprise came when I took the shade off the little lites and found out that I had ordered the wrong thing.

The pictures are of the hanging lamp over the table. Sorry to say I won't be able to use these in the regular over head light fixtures.

Was the bulb shown in the photo an 1156 bulb? I does look like the LED is much brighter. Why did the LED not work in the other fixture not work? Too big? Sounds like this LED might be what I have been looking for. Thanks for posting. I would like to know your thoughts on it so far.

Yep, and they are brighter. This would be an exceptional replacement for the 1156 bulbs. I think so anyway. The reason that they will not fit in my other ceiling lights is they are different typr of bulb. Only one light in the camper uses 1156 and it is in the back bedroom of the camper. I took for granted that they were all the same. I should have looked closer to make sure. When I went out today to take pics I was so disapointed because they were of the spade type.

, if you are interested I will make you a good deal on this one. You can try it and see what you think of it. I was gonna leave it in but took it out because this is the only lamp holder in the living area that would take this kind of bulb.

Where did you get the LED bulbs you show in your post? Every light in my trailer uses the 1156 bulb!

Dr. Art I got mine off e-bay. Here is this guys store. It was shipped the next day and I got it in two days.

They have everything in LED that you could want for the camper. Just be sure you get the WHITE light one for inside. I was really pleased with the light that i got I just couldn't use it in my camper ceiling lights.
The lights in mine have a different base than the one that I looked at in a lamp.
Oh well. It seems to be a good light anyway. It was brighter than the ones in the lamp, I posted pics on here somewhere.
