Well the Scotty is finished. We went out for the first trip to Edgar Evins State park. Its a really nice park and its the condition Rock Island was years ago. They have really fixed it up nice. It was extremely clean, So clean we used the showers there instead of the bathtub in the scotty. Its a park that would be excelent for boaters. The only thing I did not like was the steep hills there. We came in from the back so we had to put up with curves also. But the Mazda 4 Cylinder pulled it. But it was pretty much maxed out with the steep hills. I have some new pictures on the link below and the page nine in that album. The last 4 shots are of the campsite. You can also see the awning and room we made for it. We stayed for 2 nights. I hope to put up pictures in the park itself but its to late to put any up. I hope to do that tomorrow night. I was even able to get within 10 feet of some wild ducks to take pictures. Its a really nice park. The pictures are at

AMAZING Transformation! You have put a ton of work into this! How long did it take?

I'm sure you are very proud of it - and you should be...

I bet it was a fun project... but nothing i would have taken a stab at - especially the roof on it!

I'm sure your Scotty is put together better than any new camper out there!

Congrats on the Maiden Voyage!!!

Looks great Willy. Love the sponge bob box near the camper..lol

the awning curtains are a nice touch, love the colors of them. You need to camp with us so we can all see it in person

Very nicely done, Willy. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see it in person soon.

The awning room worked great. As far as the camper goes its not perfect but its a good little camper. As far as cost goes I have about double in it than I could have bought one similar that sold in this area but I know how this one is constructed. I got it from fisherpal, thanks fisherpal, back in August. As far as it goes it really wasn't in shape for a beginner project . Many of these I see are in that shape. We have probably between 300-500 hours in it. My wife did the cushions and curtains and we still have a couple of dividers to get done. My daughter helped with the inside paint. I hope to get that way at least once this year. We are going to get my wife a different vehicle so we are looking towards a blazer type vehicle. If we do that it would pull it that far better than my truck . The truck was really worked going up the hills this past weekend. If you like the sponge bob tin check out my other album there of the aristocrat camper we have. It wound up with a spongebob theme. We started with one item and wound up with a lot in it including the spongebob paint.
