I have made a few modifications to the PU that you can see by clicking on my website. I just got through making a cover for the threaded shaft on my BAL leveler. I combined a couple of campers mods and added a little of my own. I will post a picture a little later but to sum up what I did, I cut a piece of 1" conduit the length of the shaft. I found a plastic toothbrush holder that holds 4 brushes and the top comes off. I drilled a 1" hole in the bottom and put the end of the pipe a 1/4" through and hot glued both sides. Then I wrapped the whole thing with foam pipe insulation. When stored, the pipe covers the grease covered shaft and the T swivel at the bottom to keep from getting grease on you and keep the shaft free of dirt. Will post a picture soon on this one.
