In Sept, my husband and I camped at Ocean Lakes campground. We had a spot right by the ocean. It was very nice. Their web-site is www.oceanlakes.com.

I have been camping at Myrtle beach all my life. We generally stay at Ocean Lakes but after a last minute reservation screw up could not get in. So the only place we could get was Myrtle Beach Travel Park in North Myrtle Beach. I will say this, I will never stay any where but there . So quiet, very nice. 3 resteraunts on the place. Indoor and outdoor pool, lazy river, all day activities for the kids. You feel safe there and out of the main stream of Myrtle beach until you are ready to be in the middle of it.
