Here is a link to a new RV park that will open late March for the spring race at Bristol. It has a great view of the lake but no pool yet. The price during race week is HIGH but not too bad during normal camping times. Take a look at the website and make your own judgement. Remember - It's a new campground.
Thought I would throw it out there. It is right off 11-E four lane and across the road from Tri Cities Flea Market in Bluff City / Bristol, TN area.

I go by it every Sunday going to parents house in Bristol. Right now, there is still alot of mud everywhere, gravel, not paved roads, yet. No trees. Across the road from the Lake. Right on 4 lane highway that at times has alot of traffic, don't know how this would be for noise. There is a Dental building, house and electrical or phone sub station between campground and lake on the right when you first go into the campground. Don't know where the picture is taken on the home page, nothing that I recall like that, I'll look a little closer for that, it may be on the other side of the sub station. Sites 155 thru 160 are probably the only unrestricted lake view sites. The office and bath house building looks really small for the number of campsites available. I assumed they would open up for the race weekend, so maybe after they have opened I can drive through it and check out the bath houses a little better, and check out the view between the campground and lake. Right now it doesn't appeal to me, nothing to do in the campground, don't even see a playground or anything.

We drove by it last night going to Johnson City. They were working on the campground still. However, there was one Class A there in the back corner. So, it looks like it will be open for the race.
I am with Debbie regarding the picture on the website. It makes you think your going to be right on the lake. There is actually a road between the campground and the Lake.
