im looking for some campground ideas for tri cities area that have full hook-ups and take reservations , im meeting a friend there and need some input, i was thinking of koa but not sure... anyone have any ideas? thanks

warriors path state park is nice..

they dont take reservations at warriors state park but the sites are easy to find right now.. also depends on when your coming. Nascar is Aug 24-25th weekend so I think you will be out of luck to find a site that weekend. Koa is nice though. the Bathhouse is awesome, best i ahve seen.. it is like you have your own bathroom. Rocky top campground is good too the sites are level but on the hills a bit,never camped there cause there isn't much for kids to do.. Koa is another story.. lots for kids to do

I just like the idea of being able to head out with no where in particular in mind and be able to find somewhere to stay. It also helps out that I can spend the summer traveling in the middle of the week so I don't have to fight for a campsite, and the fact that I never know how long I am going to stay somewhere until I get there.

coming from maryville and another from ashevile, it would be nice to know we have a site. i like the idea of warriors, but 2 hrs and then no site would stink..does warriors have sewer hookups or dump ?
