There are a few others out there but IMHO this is the best out there. You can check the Yahoo and MSN groups . I use to belong to a few but they were not as nice as this one. Now I still belong to a few specialized groups dealing with things like restoring campers and woodworking. Anyway there is another one out there but this group to me is more friendly and like a family. Stacy has built a nice setup with this one. The other site I belonged to I found out that the people just didn't seem to be friendly. I went to one of their campouts and only one guy spoke to me. And no one introduced themselves to me. I have a restored vintage camper that was real easy to find and I figured they would at least say hi to the new guy. They never did. I think when I go up to east Tennesse this year I bet folks here will at least say hi.

Well the only reason I was even looking for another one, was to find one up north to see if I could get some suggestions for our trip this summer.

Where abouts where you thinking about going? I can check around. I would do a search for camping groups on MSN groups or Yahoo Groups. The other groups I belong to mainly deal with restoring campers. But I can ask around.

glpuc (great lakes popup club) could help or even go onto popupexplorer and ask on there. that is a forum for the whole usa

thanks for the kind words about the forum. I wanted to make this forum a place where i could be myself and meet alot of new friends without feeling like i did old club i was in.. an outsider. I hope no one ever feels like that in the club. i want you to feel like my best friends or even family

RV Net is a very good nationwide forum. You should be able to find all kinds of info on camping anywhere in the USA.

I will check out both of these forums. I am really struggling with this trip. I don't want to spend the whole time on the road, so we are trying to break it up, but 1 1/2 weeks is not a lot of time to really be able to enjoy it.
