Passions is going to only directv. The Today show will be one hour longer. I have never had the desire to have directv, until now. I will miss coming home from school to watch it.

I glad that you explained that. I have been wondering what was going on, they keep talking about directtv all the time. I seem to keep missing what was actually being told. I am in and out so much, I don't get to just sit down and watch it.

I know it will be hard not seeing it but I guess i will have to find someplace online that will show it or just keep up with the spoliers

What I want to know is do we really need another hour of the Today show. That just seems kinda crazy to me. If they needed space for the Today show take off Ellen or send Dr. Phil to directv.

Dr Phil is moving to 7 at night, sometime in Sept. Seen the advertisement on it the other night. So, not sure why they decided to do another hour.

You are supposed to be able to go to nbc.com passions and watch it online, but I could not get it to work.

Back in January, NBC decided to cancel "Passions" from their daily line-up. Furthermore statements were made that "Days" future with the network was uncertain passed 2009 when its current contract runs out. Ken Corday and "Days" have made statements in "TV Guide" and various soap magazines that they are already looking into moving "Days" to another network if need be, they aren't giving up on the show without a fight.

I read something about a petition to save Passions online but could not find it.

Oh, NO. They can't let Days go off. I can remember my grandmother and mother watching this show. I love it.

Passions is getting stranger and stranger as the days go on.

Passions has always been strange- thats the appeal.
