We have 2 cats at home and the last few trips we have left them with family or had the neighbors keep them for us. This year we are going to have to either take them to the vet or somewhere else. My questions are:
1. How much does it cost to leave a pet at the vet?
2. Is there somewhere other than a vet to keep one for a couple or three days?

I used to have a cat and when we would go we would leave him a feeder that dispensed food and water and he was fine by himself. The litter box was a bit messy to come back to, but he did fine on his own. Not sure how your cats would like that?
