I remember these so well growing up, I want to buy some but do not know where to buy good ones. I like to make grilled cheese and ham in them and also dessert. Choc pudding or apple pies..yummy

The ones at Wal-Mart are better than the ones at Camping World I think. Nancy and I are going to get us a couple. We use to have some 25 or 30 years ago. Brings back some fond memories.

We like to use cherry or blueberry pie filling. My son-in-law make an icing with 1/2 cream cheese and 1/2 powdered sugar and adds a little bit in the pie filling. Then he drizzles some more over the pies when they come out of the irons!

We've decided we would like to buy some too. I'm assuming you use them over the campfire? or hot coals? We've never used them, but have heard great things about em! Any tips and/or pointers would be great!

you put them in the hot coals. best done at night when the campfire has been burning awhile. We will do them during labor day.. apple pies,choc.pies yummy
