We just heard of a Rivers Edge campgound in Watuaga, on the river.
Has anyone ever stayed there, or know anything about this campground?

God Bless.

Riversedge in Pigeon Forge is pretty upscale, I mean there were chandeliers in the bathroom that cost more than my camper.

We were to spend our first week camping last year at Rivers Edge per the advice of our camper salesman. We took a day trip down there to check out campgrounds and promptly cancelled.
We drove around and made reservations for the week at Little River instead . Rivers Edge was just too cramped for me.

No, I believe this campground is in Elizabethton right off of Watauga Road, it's probably a 1 1/2 from my house. We go down to Sycamore Shoals and walk every other night, and you can see it across the river. We didn't know it was there until we started walking. We keep saying we are going to drive over there and take a look. It appears very etncc/hols.gif from across the river. Let me know if this is the campground I'm thinking of, and give us a review if you go. Maybe I'll ride over there this weekend. Let me know if you decide to go, I'll come by and visit.

Wow, Thanks Explorer. It's ashame I live so close and didn't even know it was there, but I "think" that is the campground I am thinking of. (In my defense I've only lived here for 7 yrs) cool.gif There are a couple of "fishing campground" around the river. I'll have to ride around this weekend and check it out. Anyone who likes to fish would like this campground, having a rubber raft, canoe, inner tube would be wonderful just the ticket for this hot weather. etncc/reallyhot.gif Also by reading the directions it probably about 3 miles from the house, it's further down the road than I thought.
