Hi. I was looking at a rockwood 8313ss yesterday and am thinking of trading in my puma 26rlss on it. Was just wondering if anyone here owns a rockwood and what you think of them?

Are you unhappy with your Puma? You might try searching rockwood on rv.net/forum to get some opinions....

No, we really love the puma. Our reason for wanting to trade again is this one has the rear living room so it has the queen bedroom in the front and then the sofa and dinette make the other beds up. The problem is we have a 2 year old and he ends up sleeping in our bed and i end up sleeping on the dinette bed cause you cant walk into the camper without waking him up if he's sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room area. THe rockwood that we are looking at had a separate back bedroom area with either a twin bed or a pullout sofa that is a lot more private and would be better for him. We looked at the bunkhosue models that have 2 bunks on either side in the back of the trailer but it just feels really tight and the bunks werent very comfortable anyway.
If anyone is interested in buying my Puma let me know. the model is a 26rlss. I just got it last july and it' in perfect condition. Right now it's covered and winterized but i have pictures of it , if anyone would want to take a look.

awww... 2 year olds are so fun : ) We didnt start camping until my kids were
16, 14 and 4. Fortunately, my almost 18 year old still enjoys camping with us and says he wants to get his own popup.

Rick had a couple of nice campers at his lot a week ago that had a slide out for the bunk area.. I liked the ones with the sofa on the bottom and a flip up bunk on top. lots of room back there for toys. We are starting to like those more than the quad bunk units.

Good luck .... I bet Will could sell it for you on ebay quickly. However, his fee if too high biggrin.gif

We will have owned our Rockwood fifth wheel for 3 years this March. So far I have no complaints with our unit. The problems I have encountered were from lack of experience. Like trying to run the water heater on electric, the air conditioner and the microwave during the 4th of July in 95 degree heat. That breaker just kept tripping. Well you know the old saying, live and learn, I just seen to always learn the hard way.

I would definitely buy another Rockwood, for me,seems to be a good value for the money.
