wondering if anyone sealed the roof on your camper ?? i have heard that it is a good thing to do like 1 a year ?? i dont know what the best thing is to do it with.. or is it better to just get a dealer to do it ??

Diesel, I haven't seen Starvol on here in awhile. Still waiting for an answer to the battery charging question myself. What type of roof does your camper have? Rubber or fiberglass or metal?

I thought they were all on the Family vacation.... I was in there last week and they were telling me the wouldn't be open all week. They should be in there on Monday. Hope this helps,

Sorry for the absent but was on a much needed vacation last week. The question about the roof. If it is rubber then you will need to seal only seams and around the vents. You do not have to seals the entire roof. Look for and places where it is coming loose. Clean it and take lap sealant and replace it. Do this twice a year to check it.

hi... ok... thanks for the info !! do you know what i use to seal it with ?? the lap sealant ??? were new on sealing stuff roofs ! it is rubber, but like along the edges is where it looks like it might need it,, and around the 3 air vents...

Lap Sealant is kinda of like silicone but not... It is self leveling and expands and contracts. It cost around $8 bucks a tube and you put is on with a caulking gun.
You can pick it up at any RV dealership.
