We would feel more comfortable if we were able to secure our tv in the bedroom with some sort of strap.

While I was in GA this weekend, I went to Camping World to look for some TV straps. The only thing that they had was some holders that attached to the tv and cabinet with adhesive - like the 3m hooks, etc. As it is a 20" tv, I just didn't feel that these would hold and provide us with the security that we were searching for.

The tv in the living room has a black nylon strap around it that holds it in place.

Does anyone know where we could find one of these?

How do you secure your tv so that it doesn't fall??

Tks!

You could buy some eye hooks and use a racheting strap. We don't use anything to secure ours.

We use the little black straps like you have on yours. I think we got ours at wally world. Don't really remember. I found them one day while in the automotive dept. I think. It works really well and even when the kid is playing video games and gets a little rowdy it stays put. biggrin.gif

We actually put our tv on the floor and strap it down with a tie down. It's a pain but we just consider it part of set up and tear down.

We use the straps you saw at Camping World. They sell them at most RV dealerships. We have a 9" TV, and two of them hold it well. The manufacturer recommends using 4 (one in each corner) for larger TV's.
