I just de-winterized my TT and i noticed the shower head handle has completly split down the side where the seam is. Was just wondering if this is a common occurance with these cheap plastic fixtures. When i wintereized it, i guess i didnt take the shower head down and run the anti-freeze into the head but it was hanging up so i would have thought the water would have run out of it anyway.

I had the same problem with my TT. I winterized it and when I de-winterized it I noticed that the shower head had split down the side. I think it is just the cheap plastic that it is made of.

I'm #3 then. I thought it was the cheap Puma head. Maybe not.

I think your shower head has frozen and burst. I always run antifreeze through the head and I have not had one burst like that. I have an outside shower and I run antifreeze through it too. It is hard for me to remember to do that outside one.

well, after i posted that i realized i had the outside shower. So i took the head off of it and put it on the bathroom. I'm gonna try it out today to see if it survived the winter. I've never run any water thru it so hopefully it will be ok. I'm sure they are cheap enough but i'm trading it in in 3 more weeks so it'll be someone else's problem after that, but i wanted to go camping this weekend.
