Very nice very clean, talked to the owner about a group trip and she is so welcoming to groups, she showed me the clubhouse, group firering and told me she has one person assigned to the bathrooms all day so they stay very clean, the campground was awesome, we will camp there for sure

We stay at this campground quite often. We always have a blast. The staff has been exceptional to us there and the facilities are nice. Also wanted to add since I saw this in another post it sparked my memory. We have been during the bug season and the nats can be quite bothersome. Just about always have to keep a fire going in the fire ring to keep them from bothering you too bad. Even with the nats we still had a fantastic time. It also impresses me too arrive at a new campground and stay for 2 to 3 days. Then in a couple of months return and the owner call you by your full name when you walk through the door.

Nice campground. Is it easier to get to this campground from the Newport side of Gatlinburg? Or does it matter?

Its better to come through the Newport side instead of Gatlingburg. Keeps you out of all of the traffic.
