With gas prices being so high we are thinking about storing our camper in Sevierville and just getting it out every weekend when we go down there. Some of the one's I have called are a little steep. Does anyone know of one to recommend? Or any other suggestions?

We have checked several storage units and they want to charge $80-90 for camper & vehicle. River Plantation storage has been full for years, that would be ideal, but we have to find an alternative route, or we won't be camping very much. Just wandering if anyone knew anywhere else in Sevierville, so we wouldn't have to drive into Pigeon Forge. Thanks!!

have you tried Riverside. It is a nice campground. I do not know if they have storage. It is in a good location.
We haven't, we really want to still camp at River Plantation, just want to find somewhere to store & then pick up & still stay at River Plantation. So somewhere that would be on the way or close to River Plantation.

Did you find a place to store your trailer in Sevier County? I saw 2 places near Douglas Dam that had trailer storage, sorry but didn't get the names. Only one had a price posted on there sign. I believe it was $40 dollars.

We went down over Easter Weekend prepared to leave camper and Durango at a storage lot behind the Knife Works. 7.4 miles from RP but still not a bad deal. It is a fecned storage lot with manned securty 24/7. Cost would have been about $85 a month but I figured it up and we'll save $50 in fuel cost for every trip down not to mention wear and tear so it would still save us in the long run. GOD was looking out for us and he cleared the way for us to leave the camper in storage at RP. They've been full for years and this time when we asked, they knew we came down basically every weekend thru the summer and said "surely we can find a spot for you" and sure enough they did. $39.95 a month and we wont need a tow vehicle at all. They pull it out and set-it on your spot before you arrive so we can ride the motorcycle down if we want to. At $40 a month one trip down and we're already money ahead. It's the best possible outcome to the problem. Prayer really does work!!
