I need help, I have just bought a car to tow behind my rv, The car I bought is a automatic trans. Someone told me that it would hurt the trans to just use a tow bar. Is this true? I know I can use a tow dolly because the front wheels of the car is not turning. Please help THANKS

Yes you will need to use a tow dolly or make sure if you are using only a tow bar that you have a way of disengage the transmission on the car. You can give Tennessee RV a call and ask for Service dept and they can help you with this question more. We do not sell Motorize units so we very seldom ever have a towing issue.
