We live in a community known as Snow Hill. We are very new to camping. We took our children when they were young, but haven't been in a long time until this summer. We tried tent camping, but found it was too hard and we were too old for it. We bought a gently used pop up camper and love it. We hope to learn a lot from the members of the camping club. We have oh so much to learn. Thank you for the very warm welcome!

Is That Snow Hill NC? Welcome aboard!

No. We live in Dowelltown, Dekalb County, Tennessee, but in the Snow Hill Com munity about 5 minutes from beautiful Center Hill Lake. We have camped in State Parks close to our home, Rock Island State Park and Fall Creek Falls State Park. We are looking forward to our next trip.

Another one here from DeKalb County!!!! I know exactly where snow hill is. I live on 56 south at sink creek. We are practically neighbors. I went to Rock Island this past summer twice. I plan on going to Fall Creek Falls when I get my new camper fixed. If you need anyting in the way of campers and such let me know. I have got into restoring old campers and know of a lot of resources. You can see mine in the vintage campers area here. I posted an update with a link to the pictures. If you deciede on going with a travel trailer later on let me know and I will help you find one. I redo older ones but run across good deals on newer ones from time to time. I am curious this isn't Conne and Charles is it? I know of some tent campers by that name. If you have any questions I can help with send me an email.

Thank you so much for the welcome. We bought a 20 year old Sunlight pop up camper to see if we liked camping and we love it. We thought we would buy a camper with a bathroom when we learn more about camping, pulling, backing, etc. I love the pop up camper. I cleaned a lot on it and my husband did a lot of work. It is far from perfect, but we like it and it looks great. We are not Connie and Charles. We are Marvin and Libbie and probably the only Marvin and Libbie in DeKalb County. We enjoy the state parks. We have two little dogs we take with us. We are new pet owners and they love to go. We love to take them with us and it is too hard to stay in a hotel with them. We took them tent caming in Brevard, NC in June.
