Willy posted this link

and it inspired this thread.

Using Jiffy Pop as a smoke detector is definately redneck.

Next time you go camping and see or do something that just might qualify as redneck, make a note and share it with us.

(Using deisel fuel as fire starter doesn't qualify you, coolbreeze. Though it's close.)

My wife just came back from the grocery store. She got me some Jiffy Pop for the camper. I guess I have a smoke detector now, and can join the club.user posted image

If it takes enough woden blocks to level and prop your camper that you would have a good start on building a cabin, you might be a redneck camper. rolleyes.gif

If your pop-up's canvas is mostly duck tape, you might be a redneck camper.

If you think diesel fuel is the first resort for starting a campfire, you might be coolbreeze.

If your pop-up has more modifications and homemade braces than original factory parts, then you, me and kralcamper might be redneck campers.

(I love our mods.)

I saw this last week at Hunting Island and thought it was redneck ingenuity at its best:

In conversation, if you refer to your camper as your "lake house" without a second thought of pretense, you might be a camping redneck.

If you see a metal shopping cart and think, "That would make a great campfire grill", you might be a camping redneck.

If your camper used to be a boat trailer, you might be a camping redneck.
